From September 2024 we are looking for new interns (resident in the Netherlands).
As a Digital Design Intern at Colourcake you are a supporting role for designing assets for websites for clients like AWWG (Pepe Jeans, Hackett Londen, Façonnable), Puma and The Social Hub. From the beginning to the final design details, you will be involved. Together with our team, you’ll be working on transforming client requirements into high-quality and user-friendly digital products. This internship is ideal for an eager digital design student (CMD, Grafisch Lyceum Utrecht/Rotterdam) with a love for design work across the fashion, lifestyle and hospitality industries.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work on creating digital assets (static, video) for a range of platforms (social, display advertising, eCommerce, knowledge of designing websites/landing pages);
- Roll out existing campaign assets together with your design coach so they are usable for every media type, language and objective;
- Learn to being able to use brand guidelines and implement them correctly in your design assets;
- Working with the creative team, but mainly with the Design Tech Manager;
- Supporting on office tasks.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Currently are pursuing a degree or diploma in digital design, creative design or any related field;
- You have knowledge of graphics programs such as Illustrator and Photoshop;
- You have knowledge in designing websites in Figma;
- Understanding how to use your design skills in marketing, production, web design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design;
- Understanding of the fashion, lifestyle and hospitality industry;
- Have an eye for detail, and knowledge of grids, layouts, color schemes, typography and the latest design trends;
- Are proactive, flexible and have great communication skills;
- Are fluent in Dutch and English;
- Are highly skilled with creative talent;
- Currently live in / around Amsterdam.
