Duration: 5-6 months, starting from February 2025
Location: Amsterdam
As a Motion Designer Intern at Colourcake you are a supporting role for creating animated graphics and visual effects in videos for our clients & Colourcake socials. You use a variety of software tools to create these elements from scratch or modify existing footage to fit the needs of our internal and external projects. This role offers a great opportunity to gain practical experience in a professional environment setting within a young and motivated team and develop their skills in motion graphics, animation, and visual storytelling.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creating animated / motion graphics and videos using computer software such as Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere Pro
- Creating illustrations, designs, and other artwork used for graphic treatment in video edits
- Coming up with creative ideas and concepts and bring them to life in motion
- Proactively seek opportunities to learn and develop skills in motion design techniques, industry trends, and relevant software tools.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Currently are pursuing a degree or diploma in graphic design, fine arts, media, computer animation or another related field;
- Understanding of the fashion, lifestyle and hospitality industry
- Have an eye for detail;
- Are proactive, flexible and have great communication skills;
- You know how to work with design software from Adobe Creative Suite, V-Ray and After Effects;
- Are fluent in Dutch and English;
- Have great organizational skills;
- Are great in understanding the big picture context;
- Are highly skilled with creative talent;
- Currently live in / around Amsterdam.
