Garcia wanted to redefine its brand narrative and identity to better resonate with its audience, ensuring the brand remained relevant and engaging in a competitive market.
We needed to create an identity that would capture the heart and soul of Garcia, honouring its history while positioning the company for future success.
By creating a unique visual style based on the brand’s Mediterranean origins and Dutch upbringing, while adding emotional storytelling to ensure a deeper audience connection.
The approach
We’ve been on quite the creative journey with Dutch jeanswear company, Garcia. Back in 2021, just ahead of the brand’s 50th birthday, we knew we were tailormade for each other when they approached us to create a completely new brand identity and story. From there, we began a long-term partnership realising multiple 360° campaigns.
The heart of Garcia is its story. A brand born in Italy’s ‘Valley of the Jeans’ by couple Maurizio and Isabella Garcia, then brought to the Netherlands by their friend and fellow jean enthusiast, Martin Kouwenberg, there’s a depth of heart, soul and connection at Garcia. This feeling is the foundation for all brand executions and visuals, which need to appeal to men, women and children. That's why we capture moments of togetherness through a warm, inviting identity with a Mediterranean tone.
