The Avocado Show wanted to encourage people to not just think of avocadoes as a breakfast or lunch item, but as an ingredient that can be enjoyed for dinner, too.
To reposition The Avocado Show as an all-day dining destination, introducing and highlighting their evening menu to generate excitement.
By creating a bold and beautiful awareness campaign that would transform the public’s perception of avocadoes as exclusively a breakfast food.
The approach
A cult icon born in Amsterdam, The Avocado Show is all about ‘Pretty Healthy Food’. That means food that’s stunning to look at, deliciously flavourful and centred around sustainably sourced avocadoes. They reached out to us to develop a new campaign that would convince people that avocado isn’t ‘just’ a breakfast food, but rather a fruit (yep, it’s fruit!) that can be enjoyed for dinner, too.
From this, we created ‘The Dinner Campaign’, adding a new layer of playful personality to The Avocado Show’s already well-established brand. The idea was built on switching perceptions by 'switching' the mood from day to night, showcasing the restaurant’s new dinner menu – and proving avocadoes aren't just for breakfast.
